Fishing has played a major role in my life ever since I can remember.  You could always find me on the water somewhere.  I guess things still haven’t changed, if I’m not on the water I’m preparing myself for my next on the water adventure.

For me, there is no greater rush than tournament fishing.  I started fishing tournament’s at the age of 12 with my father, and later on ventured out on my own.  At the age of 20 I won the 2005 FLW Walleye Event on the Bay of Green Bay, being the youngest angler to ever win an FLW event.  The very next day I fished the WWA, which also took place on Green Bay, and took the title to that also.  After these two events I knew that I had the drive to push myself to the max in my tournament career.  With Walleye fishing being my primary focus, I also ventured into the world of Bass fishing.

In 2003, I started my own guide service right here in Central Wisconsin.  As a multi-species guide I needed to be on the top of my game for all species of fish.  In 2005, I joined Hooksetters guide service whom I am still guiding with today.  Hooksetters is the largest guide service in Central Wisconsin, and everyone has a specialty so we can all be at the top of our game and clients can enjoy some of the best fishing in the country (www.hooksetters.biz).

It doesn’t just stop at guiding and tournament fishing.  If I am not on the water you will probably find me at Gander Mountain in Wausau, WI, where I have been sharing my love of the outdoors for many years.  In the slow season I keep busy with seminars and working at sport shows.
